Epson 5050UB: Reviews
Rafe Curtis ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
When I first saw the Epson 5050UB projector, I was immediately taken aback by its brightness and clarity. Even in less-than-ideal darkness, it still managed to provide an incredibly watchable picture with sharp detail and enhanced features. It felt like a completely immersive experience that made my home theater come alive! I decided to take it one step further and invest in a CinemaScope wider screen for an additional two or three hundred dollars – which I definitely don’t regret doing. This motorized lens allowed me to eliminate the annoying black bars at the top and bottom of movies such as Avengers, making them look even better on my big screen!
John Parks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
After extensive research, I opted for the Epson 5050UB (V11H930020) projector—a perfect replacement for my nine-year-old Epson 6010 PowerLite Cinema Pro projector that had served me faithfully all these years. As soon as I set up the new device and switched it on, I knew this was going to be worth every penny spent!
The image quality was sharper than ever before with its pixel-shifting technology, thanks to which even small details on screen were visible from any angle of view in 4K UHD resolution. Not only that, but the black areas were noticeably darker now with higher contrast overall—the kind of brightness you would expect from a much pricier model.
Jack Patterson ⭐⭐⭐⭐
After much deliberation, I settled on the Home Cinema 5050UB – it was within my budget and had plenty of positive reviews from satisfied customers. There were some slight lags before actual video started playing but nothing too major that interfered with any enjoyment whatsoever.
Still, there were plenty of positives to be found in the new model. It handled ambient light very well – even when hosting football games with the lights cranked up to full brightness – thanks to its impressive lumens output which made sure no detail was lost under all that artificial light.
In short: Home Cinema 5050UB didn’t disappoint! From then onwards each movie night became an absolute joy for me as well as all who joined in on viewing parties at my place (even if we had to wait through that slight delay).
